jerusalem epitles

"Dr. Saeed Abu Ali’s *Jerusalem Epistles* portrays Jerusalem as the core of the Palestinian struggle—its identity, history, and sovereignty under constant threat. The book condemns the American “Deal of the Century” as a new Balfour Declaration that fragments Palestinian lands, erases the right of return, and legitimizes Israeli annexation. Abu Ali highlights systematic efforts to Judaize Jerusalem, marginalizing its Muslim and Christian communities and threatening al-Aqsa Mosque. He stresses that cultural and popular resistance are vital to preserving the city’s Arab identity. Despite ongoing pressures, the book celebrates Palestinian resilience and frames Jerusalem as the soul of Palestine—without it, neither peace nor justice can exist."
